Wilderness Therapy
Experiencing psychotherapy in a wilderness setting is a very unique and powerful experience. The wilderness setting offers a different perspective from a traditional psychotherapy office. Nature mirrors our connection with natural cycles and provides metaphors that can be great tools to help us through challenges and transitions, as well as helping us find deeper meaning in our lives. Being in contact with nature helps us have a deeper connection to ourselves and our relationships with others. Nature also provides us with a map where we can see the full spectrum of what it means to be human without judgment and labels. As we sit in, move through, and explore the natural world we learn more about our true nature and ways to bring and express ourselves more fully to this world. Being witnessed and supported through this process is wilderness therapy.
