Education
Deborah
Fleming received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the
University
of Pittsburgh, December 1996. She later attended the Colorado
School of Counseling and Hypnotherapy Training to receive
her certification in Medical Dental Hypnotherapy from the International
Medical/Dental Hypnotherapy Association. In addition, she
has a certification as a smoking cessation specialist through
the American Board of Hypnotherapy. She also received training
as a domestic violence/rape sexual assault counselor in Iowa,
and has taken 200 additional hours of training in various counseling
techniques.
Experience
Deborah
began her counseling career as a Children's Counselor/Advocate
for the Domestic Violence Advocacy Program through Family
Resources, Inc. in January of 1998. During her time with this
program she met with clients and their parents in helping them
grow and meet the unique challanges they faced. During her last
year with the program she was chosen to speak at the 2000 National
Domestic Violence Conference. That summer she and her husband
moved to Boulder where they opened the Whole Health Wellness Center.
In June of 2001, Deborah received her national certification in
Medical/Dental Hypnotherapy and has been providing services to
individuals and groups since. In addition to working directly
with clients, Deborah has had the opportunity to co-author Focus:
An ADD Recovery Program. This curriculum is designed to help
professionals work effectively with children diagnosed with ADD.
Beginning 2005, Deborah has focused her attention on a new smoking
cessation program with a success rate over 95%.
Philosophy
Deborah's
philosophy embraces the model of wholistic wellness. Her practice
is based on the perspective that everyone has the potential to
heal from the inside out. She believes that the mind, body and
spirit are one and the whole person must be addressed in order
for complete healing to occur. She enjoys working cooperatively
with other practitioners in helping her clients heal from past
and present emotional, physical and spiritual wounds. Her work
involves using the natural power of the mind to resolve life conflicts
with such tool as Parts Therapy, Cellular Release, Imagery, Regression
Work, Art, Journaling and Time Line Therapy. Click here

Personal
Interests
She
enjoys outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hiking, biking,
caving, camping, roller blading and skiing. Deborah loves playing
the piano and continues her path of spiritual growth through classes,
meditation, relaxation, self-hypnosis, reading and journaling.
