Activator
Methods: This technique uses an
instrument, the activator, to adjust the joints of the body where
imbalances/subluxations are found from a leg-length test.
Applied
Kinesiology(AK): This is the broad
based technique that started muscle testing currently used by many
other techniques. It makes a thorough connection between western
science and and physiology and eastern traditional medicine.
Atlas
Orthogonal (AO): AO, founded by Dr. Roy Sweat,
is an upper cervical (upper neck) technique that uses an instrument
to adjust the atlas (1st vertebra under the head) that is arguably
the most influential area of the spine.
Biokinesiology
(BK): BK corrections address many different
types of imbalances by stimulating the nervous system at specific
points such as the back of the neck where the base of the brainstem
extends through the 1st and 2nd vertebrae.
Dr.
Hulda Clark's work ("The Cure for all Disease"):
Dr. Hulda Clark's work in the area of toxicities
and pathogens (parasites, bacteria, etc. - killed with a "zapper") has made significant contributions
to understanding how many disease conditions develop. You can buy a great Hulda Clark type zapper from our office or online from Essence Intruments.
Clinical
Kinesiology (CK): CK, founded by Dr. Alan
Beardall, developed out of AK and uses a faster approach to getting
information from the body through the use of hand modes (hand and
finger positions) and specific tests not found in AK.
Contact
Reflex Analysis (CRA): CRA is a muscle
testing technique that uses nutrition to restore proper body chemistry
along with adjustments, energetic devices, and other therapies to
heal the body.
Metabolic
Typing ("Metabolic
Typing Diet"): This individualized
nutritional guide assesses the metabolic or body type of a person,
eliminating the one-size-fits-all approach of many diets commonly
found.
Nambudripad
Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET): Dr.
Nambudripad believes that allergies are the primary cause of all
disease and uses correction of sensitivities to basic items such
as vitamins and minerals (if present).
Neuro-Emotional
Technique (NET): Dr. Scott Walker founded
this technique, along with the "home run formula", to
clear emotional blocks (found with muscle testing) that interfere
with the body's ability to heal itself.
Nutri-West:
Utilized by many AK doctors around the country,
Nutriwest offers a broad range of quality supplements including
products from the research of Dr. Alan Beardal and Dr. John Brimhall.
The founder of this company is Dr. Paul White.
Sacro-Occipital
Technique (SOT): This technique combines
reflex/organ point treatments with the use of pelvic blocks to restore
proper function to the cranial/sacral respiratory system.
Standard
Process: Founded by Royal Lee, DDS, in
the earlier part of the 1900's, this is one of the oldest supplement
companies in business and offers possibly the best line of whole
food based supplements available.
Total
Body Modification (TBM): This is a comprehensive
approach to health care encompassing the first extensive allergy
corrections in the world of muscle testing, unique corrections such
as "rib torque" and restoring proper sugar metabolism.
